Senior Analyst, FP&A – FinTech

Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, FP&A – FinTech is a key member of the FP&A team supporting Everi/IGT’s FinTech business. This role provides financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting across transaction-driven products and services, which may include payments, cash access, loyalty and marketing platforms, self-service kiosks, AML/compliance solutions, and casino financial systems. The role translates business and financial data into insights that support operating decisions, forecast accuracy, and profitable growth.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, analytically sharp finance professional who is comfortable working with large and varied datasets, understands the financial drivers of technology-enabled payments and services businesses, and communicates clearly with Finance and cross-functional partners across Sales, Product, Operations, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Month-End FinTech Performance & Reporting

  • Build and maintain monthly and quarterly reporting for FinTech revenue, transaction activity, key performance indicators, costs, and profitability across assigned products, customers, business units, or cost centers.
  • Analyze actual results against plan, forecast, and prior periods; explain key variances and business drivers with clear, actionable commentary.
  • Analyze financial and operational drivers such as transaction volume, transaction value, active installations, utilization, product and customer mix, pricing, fees, and service levels, where applicable to the assigned business.
  • Prepare executive-ready reporting packages and dashboards that highlight performance trends, risks, opportunities, and areas requiring management attention.
  • Reconcile and validate financial reporting across source systems, operational data, billing information, and the general ledger; investigate discrepancies and coordinate resolution before results are published.

Forecasting, Budgeting & Planning, R&Os, and LRP

  • Develop and maintain bottoms-up forecasts for assigned FinTech products, business units, or cost centers using relevant operating drivers, transaction trends, customer activity, pricing assumptions, and known business changes.
  • Support the annual operating plan, monthly reforecasts, and long-range planning, including revenue, operating expense, headcount, capital expenditure, and profitability assumptions as applicable.
  • Build scenario and sensitivity analyses to quantify the financial impact of changes in transaction volumes, customer or product mix, pricing, market conditions, operating costs, and business initiatives.
  • Prepare bi-weekly P&L reviews for assigned business units or cost centers, with concise commentary on performance drivers, forecast changes, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support the tracking and evaluation of risks and opportunities (R&Os), maintaining clear assumptions, financial estimates, and updates as new information becomes available.

Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting assumptions, analytical methods, and reporting processes.

  • FinTech Business Partnership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Sales, Product, Operations, and other stakeholders to understand business performance, validate assumptions, and connect operational activity to financial results.

Support business cases and investment analyses for new products, technology enhancements, customer opportunities, and operational initiatives, including ROI, payback, and scenario analysis where appropriate.

  • Analyze revenue, cost, and margin trends to identify potential revenue leakage, unfavorable cost movements, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Develop an understanding of the financial flows and key performance drivers of FinTech products and services, including how transaction activity, customer contracts, pricing, billing, and operating costs affect reported results.
  • Process Improvement & Data Integrity

Identify and implement opportunities to automate recurring reports, financial models, reconciliations, and analytical workflows to reduce manual effort and improve timeliness.

Maintain documentation of key metrics, model logic, assumptions, and reporting processes to support consistency, transparency, and auditability.

Champion data quality across financial and operational systems; proactively investigate discrepancies and work with source-system owners to resolve them.

  • AI & Technical Skills
  • This role blends financial judgment with strong technical capability. We expect the Senior Analyst to use modern tools, including AI, to work faster and more accurately, while applying the critical thinking needed to validate results.
  • Advanced Excel, including dynamic arrays, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, and well-structured, auditable model design.

Experience building dashboards and self-service reporting in Power BI or Tableau.

  • Understanding of data modeling concepts and how financial and operational data flows from source systems through reporting tools to the general ledger.
  • Use generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Copilot) to accelerate analysis, draft variance commentary, summarize financial and operational data, and generate or debug formulas, SQL, and scripts.
  • Identify and build automation opportunities using AI-assisted workflows, scripting, or low-code tools to reduce manual reporting and reconciliation work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel, with demonstrated experience building driver-based forecasts and scenario analyses.
  • Proficiency with SQL and a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Working understanding of revenue recognition (ASC 606) and deferred revenue concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, concise insights for non-finance audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, curious, and proactive, with a bias toward ownership and follow-through.
  • Presence in-office at least 4 days per week.
