IGT is seeking a Network Engineer I to provide essential support for network infrastructure across our Wide Area Progressive (WAP) systems. In this role, you’ll assist senior engineers with installations, maintenance, and operational support in a real-time, 24/7/365 environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and willing to travel as needed to meet business demands.
This position comes with work schedule flexibility, representing roughly 50% in-office (Reno, NV) and 50% remote work from home.
- Assist senior engineers with network installations, maintenance, and support.
- Perform troubleshooting of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Participate in the architecture, build, and support of on-premise infrastructure and hosting environments
- Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, procedures, best practices, and performance/capacity metrics.
- Participate in network delivery project planning and execution as a team member.
- Assist with system software, application software, hardware, and configuration tasks.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving critical network related issues
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Support in the direction and implementation of network security policies while conforming to industry best-practices.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technology field or equivalent network certification and experience.
- CompTIA Network+ certification required.
- CCNA or equivalent certification a plus.
- Understanding of basic network infrastructure and technologies, including:
- WAN/LAN
- TCP/IP, UDP, and DHCP
- Routers and switches
- Fiber optic and copper cabling
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining strong attention to detail.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $44,990/yr - $96,845/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
