PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

Meet and deliver sales results by promoting the brand, motivating sales team, tracking employee performance, and cultivating and maintaining relationships with retailers. Leads and manages a team of retail sales reps, providing guidance, training and mentorship. 

Responsibilities

Responsible for the ongoing strategy and development of the product category

• Manages, analyzes, and monitors market changes in product mix and retail prices to remain competitive

• Determines market needs, gaps, and creates a strategy to capture new growth

• Manages Scratch price points and game mix strategy to maximize sales

• Leads and directs his/her team to maximize revenue return to IGT and the Texas Lottery Commission to increase contributions for good causes

• Working knowledge of the products, consumer needs, buying practices, and retail environment related to the merchandise category

• Successfully manages business directives that could result in monetary sanctions to the organization if not executed effectively

• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages workflow by setting and defining goals, communicating objectives and monitoring team and individual performance

• Effectively resolves employee issues and performance issues using active listening skills and conflict resolutions, with the ability to field ambiguous information

• Monitors employee productivity and provides constructive feedback and coaching

• Is consistent with performance monitoring, feedback, communication and training

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combinations of experience and education in lieu of degree

• 5+ years of experience

• Proficient skill level with MS office and Excel

• Demonstrated experience with Data Visualization products such as Tableau

• Experience interpreting significant amounts of data, reports and analysis in order to turn it into action steps to achieve goals

• Excellent judgment, maintains confidentiality, professionalism and positive attitude

• Strong judgment skills in analyzing and responding to challenging issues raised by retailers and employees

• Excellent interpersonal skills within the sales organization, retailers and internal departments

• Attention to detail and proven follow up skills

• Exhibits leadership - ability to carry the company party line

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $100,200 - $159,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
