Responsibilities

  • Generates test documentation and executes tests to verify that the system performs as required. 
  • Records, reports, and tracks defects to accurately depict the status of the system.
  • Develops test documentation, performs system testing, and secures, organizes and maintains test environment.
  • Job reports to SQA/Site Operations Manager
  • Job reports to (indirect) Process and Quality Leads (PM/DTL, ADM)
  • Extent decisions governed by procedures or referred up: follows established site and corporate policies and procedures. Helps develop site QA procedures, test plans, and checklists. Works under limited supervision. All key decisions governed by policy or referred to superior. 
  • Standard requirements for research and analyses: regular analysis of data.
  • Participates in customer meetings to gather all necessary information and requirements: provide input on project timelines. 
  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and executed successfully.
  • Analyze business requirements to identify testing needs.
  • Maintain on-site test environments; take ownership of Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) systems scheduling, planning, configuring, documenting, and implementing required change(s)
  • Participate on-call support for CAT system support incidents as well as day-to-day support of reported issues and problems. 
  • Assist in delivering metrics that determine effectiveness and efficiency of deliverables. 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university program majoring in computer science
  • 1-2 years related experience or experience facilitating and managing customer expectations
  • SEI / CMM Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to ensure highly technical information is understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. The compensation rate for this role is $21.00 / hr.
