Gaming Product Compliance Analyst
IGT is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of gaming, lottery products and systems. IGT Australia is a dominant force in Australia and New Zealand, and we provide a range of gaming and lottery products, systems, and services.
An opportunity exists for an experienced Product Compliance Analyst to join our team. Our preference is for the role to be based in Macquarie Park, NSW. However, we are open to candidates from interstates in Australia.
Overall objective and purpose:
- Responsible for conceptual product review from a jurisdictional requirement perspective.
- Seek cross functional strategies to obtain internal efficiencies and industry acceptance.
- Represents Compliance ongoing participation in new product and regulatory implementations.
- Presents compliance products and concepts to test labs and key gaming regulators in APAC region with travel as necessary to perform regulatory training and demonstrations.
- Own internal control systems and work closely and collaboratively with other key stakeholders internally and externally to ensure compliance at all times, identify risks or issues and evaluate and improve them continuously.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Leads the research, monitoring, analysis, interpretation, and summarization of jurisdictional gaming requirements that govern products and associated processes across nominated regulated markets.
- Works internally with new product projects. Develop a regional plan for each jurisdiction in APAC region.
- Flexible in responding to the overall needs of the business, the changes in the industry or the regulatory framework
- Ensures that regulatory requirements are worked with the business to achieve mutually understood delivery of product and/or service quality. Anticipates obstacles that may prevent meeting business objectives and identifies strategies to overcome difficulties.
- Identifies potential jurisdictional synergies or limitations, any known mitigations, and ensure internal awareness across key stakeholders. Arbitrates unresolved issues as required.
- Assess product design and implementation at strategic points during the development cycle to key jurisdictional requirements.
- Special projects, regulatory issue investigation management and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Educational -
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with emphasis in engineering, mathematics, computer science or technology.
Skills & Attributes -
- Strong interaction, negotiation and organizational skills, ability to manage time and work independently.
- Excellent analytical capabilities with the keen aptitude to distill complex findings into simple, actionable insights or recommendations.
- Solution finding attitude with a high degree of creativity, enthusiasm, and critical thinking.
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with a diverse range of people with regards to regulations, jurisdictions, and submissions.
- A team player with a positive attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with other languages a plus.
Experience -
- Minimum 5 years of regulated-gaming experience preferred
- 2 + years of project or team-led experience, emphasizing cross-functional collaboration.
