Job Description
We are looking for an SQA Engineer role in our Philippines office. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing tests to ensure the functional integrity and high performance of our product line.
Role and Responsibilities
· Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to create test plans and test cases.
· Perform regression, system integration, user acceptance, and exploratory testing.
· Undertake manual testing activities, document test results and create defect reports
· Develop and execute automated test scripts and contribute to the maintenance of automated test suites
· Create and maintain test environments, test lab, test data and documentation
· Work collaboratively in an Agile environment to develop a strong understanding of testing objectives
Required Skills
We are looking for candidates with the following:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field
· At least 6 years of experience in QA roles with a passion for quality and continuous improvement of product
· In-depth knowledge and experience of software testing life cycle
· Experience working in an Agile environment and participating in related ceremonies
· Proficient in test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail) and defect tracking tools.
· Hands on experience with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server
· Hands on experience with Web Services and Web API. Familiarity with tools like SOAP UI and JMeter
· Hands on experience with virtual machines and hypervisors e.g., VMWare and Hyper-V
Desirable Skills
· Experience with automation tools SmartBear TestComplete
· Demonstrated programming and debugging skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages
· Experience in performance testing
· Experience with TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, and Git
· Exposure to Jira and Confluence
· Certifications in software testing qualifications
