Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to support recruiting for our game development studios. This role will independently manage complex, full-cycle hiring across creative and technical disciplines while serving as a trusted recruiting partner to studio leaders, hiring managers, and HR stakeholders. The position requires strong recruiting expertise, demonstrated knowledge of game development talent markets, and the ability to build proactive sourcing strategies for specialized and competitive roles. Success will be measured through quality of hire, delivery against hiring priorities, candidate experience, stakeholder partnership, and recruiting effectiveness.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for studio roles across game development, including creative and technical disciplines such as game design, art and animation, software engineering, mathematics, UX/UI, production, audio, quality, and related functions, with ownership for delivering against assigned hiring priorities.
- Partner closely with studio leaders, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners to understand hiring needs, team requirements, critical skill gaps, and recruiting priorities, translating those needs into effective search strategies and advising on the realities of the talent market.
- Provide consultative recruiting guidance on talent availability, competitive talent markets, candidate expectations, compensation considerations, and other market factors affecting studio hiring, using that insight to shape recruiting approaches and hiring decisions.
- Build proactive sourcing and talent-pipeline strategies for specialized and hard-to-fill game development roles, leveraging research, talent mapping, professional networks, industry communities, events, and direct outreach to engage active and passive candidates.
- Apply knowledge of game development disciplines and studio environments to strengthen intake discussions, candidate evaluation, interview processes, and hiring decisions, helping hiring teams assess talent effectively against role requirements.
- Own the recruiting lifecycle from intake and sourcing through screening, candidate evaluation, interview management, offer development, negotiation, and close, maintaining strong process discipline and momentum through each stage.
- Build strong relationships with creative and technical candidates, delivering a positive candidate experience and effectively representing IGT, our studios, teams, projects, and employee value proposition.
- Use recruiting metrics, pipeline data, and market information to identify sourcing challenges, adjust search strategies, and provide clear status updates, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Contribute to talent acquisition initiatives such as employer branding, studio talent campaigns, sourcing programs, process improvement, recruiting technology, and talent market research.
- Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, company policies, governance requirements, and consistent selection standards across supported markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Management Information Systemsand Computer Science
- Experience: 3-5 years of corporate full life cycle recruitment in a high-volume environment - agency experience a plus, experience in the recruitment for SDLC
- A demonstrable expertise in ad-hoc, complex web search string generation (i.e., optimized use of search engine-specific Boolean operators across all leading web data, social, and search platforms).
- Proficiency with traditional web sourcing techniques (e.g., site x-ray searching, flip searching, location specific searching, targeted community searching, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of social network platforms, online communities, conferences, and other potential sourcing pools used to isolate senior-level technical talent and emerging technologies (e.g., GitHub, Stack Overflow, Top Coder, etc.)
- A broad understanding of the standards and trends in software engineering across a variety of domains (e.g., distributed systems, mobile engineering, front-end web engineering, databases, etc.)
- Experience in the development and analysis of recruitment metrics
- Active use of applicant tracking system (ATS),Success Factors and SAP experience a plus.
