Overview

Are you a hands-on Mechanical Engineer who thrives on turning bold ideas into real-world products? In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing and delivering innovative product equipment, signage, and merchandising solutions that make an impact. This is a high-visibility position for an engineer who enjoys ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and seeing designs move from concept to production.

What You’ll Do:

Design & Innovation

  • Lead the design, development, and testing of mechanical components, parts, and large-scale assemblies (250+ parts).

  • Develop solutions, build prototypes, and perform product validation and design verification testing.

  • Apply engineering best practices across sheet metal fabrication, vacuum forming, injection molding, and machining processes.

  • Identify, document, and implement fixes for mechanical defects and continuous improvement opportunities.

Engineering Execution

  • Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation including parts and assembly drawings, bills of materials, and engineering change orders.

  • Ensure strong ECM control and adherence to product lifecycle management processes.

  • Develop project cost estimates and drive unit cost reduction initiatives for released products.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define project deliverables and schedules.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for vendors and manufacturing partners.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring on-time delivery.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.

What You Bring

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Experience

  • 5–8 years of engineering experience, including work with large, complex assemblies (250+ parts).

  • Experience collaborating with manufacturing teams and third-party vendors.

  • Engineering design project management experience preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in product design and 3D modeling applications.

  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.

  • Advanced knowledge of ECM control and product lifecycle processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

That’s why our starting compensation range is $86,538 to $220,000 USD, with room to go higher or lower depending on the full picture. We also follow all local pay laws and collective bargaining agreements, so everything’s above board.
