The Role

IGT is seeking an experienced Lead Licensing Specialist to oversee the day-to-day operations of our regulatory licensing team in Las Vegas. In this highly visible role, you will help ensure that IGT, its leaders, and its employees remain properly licensed in the jurisdictions where the Company operates.

You will manage complex licensing activities, guide and develop team members, collaborate with internal business partners, and serve as a trusted point of contact for regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable compliance professional who brings strong leadership, sound judgment, and a passion for improving processes.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the daily activities and workflow of the regulatory licensing team, ensuring applications and renewals are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Manage entity, key employee, officer, principal, and occupational licensing requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, biannual, annual, and other required regulatory filings.
  • Analyze licensing regulations and provide clear guidance to internal departments and business partners.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for commercial and tribal regulatory agencies, responding to questions, requests, audits, and investigations.
  • Coordinate the collection of information from internal teams for licensing applications, required filings, audits, and regulatory reviews.
  • Identify licensing or compliance challenges and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop timely solutions.
  • Lead assigned licensing projects, monitor project activities, and communicate progress to regulatory compliance leadership.
  • Create and maintain licensing requirements within the Company’s regulatory licensing software.
  • Train users on internal licensing systems, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with software providers and internal teams to troubleshoot system issues and recommend program enhancements.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and implement process improvements that increase accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and develop direct reports while managing schedules, performance, and other personnel matters.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience preferred.
  • Five to eight years of regulatory compliance experience supporting entity, individual, key employee, or occupational licensing.
  • Experience within a casino, gaming, or gaming-supplier environment preferred.
  • At least one year of direct people-management or supervisory experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of licensing requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, sensitive information, and deadline-driven regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work directly with regulators, auditors, business leaders, and employees.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of ArdentSky or similar regulatory compliance and licensing software preferred.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including skills, experience, education, and geographic location. These factors may result in variation in starting pay. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $70,000 – $82,500 annually USD, based on a good-faith assessment at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary. IGT complies with all applicable pay transparency and compensation laws and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. 
  
Base pay is one component of IGT’s total rewards program. Depending on the role, employees may be eligible for bonus or commission opportunities.
