Overview
The Director of Global Benefits is a hands‑on, strategic leader responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive employee benefits programs across IGT’s global locations. This person acts as a player‑coach — balancing strategic vision with day‑to‑day operational leadership — while driving innovation, change management, and continuous improvement across all benefits programs.
Working in a fast‑paced and evolving environment, this leader ensures offerings are competitive, cost‑effective, compliant, and aligned with IGT’s culture, values, and workforce strategy. The role partners closely with regional People & Culture leaders, Finance, Legal, and global vendors to deliver a world‑class employee experience.
Work Location
This role is hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week) at our Las Vegas, Nevada office or remote with Las Vegas travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve a global benefits strategy that supports business growth and workforce needs.
- Lead and develop a high-performing benefits team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Align benefits programs with organizational values, employee experience priorities, and funding models including self-insured and fully insured plans.
- Lead the design, implementation, and administration of health, retirement, wellness, and leave programs across all countries of operation.
- Ensure consistency in core offerings while adapting to local market and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with international benefits laws and regulations.
- Partner with legal, finance, and P&C teams to manage audits, reporting, and risk mitigation.
- Oversee global vendor relationships, including brokers, insurers, and consultants.
- Manage benefits budgets, cost modeling, and financial forecasting.
- Drive clear, inclusive, and engaging communication strategies for benefits programs.
- Lead global open enrollment and change management initiatives.
- Lead and develop a high-performing global benefits team.
- Collaborate with regional P&C leaders, Total Rewards, and People Operations teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in benefits management, with at least 5 years in a global or multinational role.
- Proven success in designing and managing international benefits programs.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing global vendors.
- CEBS, GPHR, or similar certification is a plus.
- Prior SAP and SuccessFactors Employee Central experience
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to audit data and recognize data issues and inconsistencies
- Strong service orientation and accountability to problem resolution and end user support

At IGT, we believe compensation should be as individual as you are, reflecting your skills, experience, background, and location. For this role, the starting compensation range is $106,250 - $211,700, with flexibility to adjust higher or lower based on the full scope of qualifications. We proudly comply with all applicable local pay transparency laws and collective bargaining agreements.
