Responsibilities
The Systems Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, protecting the installed base, and expanding IGT Systems relationships within an assigned territory and portfolio of casino customers and prospects. This role serves as the primary commercial owner for systems-focused opportunities within assigned accounts while partnering closely with Games Account Executives and other IGT teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Own systems-focused sales activities within assigned accounts and prospects, driving revenue growth and achievement of annual sales objectives.
- Develop and maintain strategic account plans, qualified pipeline, accurate forecasts, and opportunity data to support current- and future-year revenue goals.
- Identify and advance new systems opportunities across existing customers, competitive accounts, expansions, upgrades, modernization initiatives, and new developments.
- Develop and execute competitive casino management system (CMS) displacement strategies while protecting and expanding IGT’s existing Systems installed base.
- Lead the systems sales process from discovery through contract execution, including solution positioning, demonstrations, proposals, pricing strategy, negotiations, and close planning.
- Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and executive decision makers, translating business and operational needs into appropriate IGT solutions.
- Develop compelling business cases that communicate the operational, financial, and strategic value of IGT solutions.
- Collaborate with Games, FinTech, Product, Technical Sales, Finance, Legal, Delivery, Customer Success, and other teams to coordinate complex, multi-product opportunities and successful execution.
- Remain commercially engaged through implementation and post-sale activities to support customer satisfaction, retention, and future growth.
- Provide competitive and market intelligence and represent the voice of the customer internally to help inform product, roadmap, and go-to-market strategies.
- Participate in customer business reviews, industry events, trade shows, demonstrations, executive briefings, and other strategic customer engagements as required.
- Manage territory and customer activity with a high degree of ownership, organization, urgency, and accountability.
Qualifications
Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Hospitality, Gaming, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Experience Required
- Five or more years of relevant sales, account management, casino operations, gaming technology, or enterprise technology experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success in enterprise, solution, technology, or casino gaming sales; direct casino management systems experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing complex, long-cycle sales opportunities involving multiple decision makers, technical stakeholders, commercial considerations, and internal resources.
- Prior experience selling casino management systems, gaming technology, enterprise software, or other mission-critical technology solutions is preferred.
- Experience selling to C-level, executive, operational, financial, and technical audiences within casino gaming or similarly complex enterprise environments is preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of casino operations, casino management systems, enterprise technology sales, and the competitive gaming technology landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic account plans, competitive displacement strategies, executive engagement plans, and opportunity close plans.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate deal economics, develop business cases, support pricing strategies, and participate effectively in negotiations.
- Ability to independently conduct customer discovery, deliver executive-level presentations and high-level solution demonstrations, and translate technical capabilities into clear business value.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated CRM discipline and experience managing pipeline, forecasts, account plans, and sales activity within a structured sales environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with executive, operational, financial, and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization and influence internal and external stakeholders without direct authority.
- Highly organized, self-directed, accountable, and able to manage multiple complex opportunities and customer priorities simultaneously.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50%–75%, depending on territory needs and stage of the sales cycle.
- Ability to attend customer meetings, trade shows, demonstrations, and presentations that may require standing for extended periods.
- Ability to transport and handle normal sales materials and equipment associated with customer presentations and demonstrations.
