About the Role
We currently have a vacancy for a motivated Repair Centre Technician to work in our Repair Centre located in Ermington. Reporting to the Repair Centre Manager, we are looking for someone good with their hands who enjoy assembling, diagnosing and repairing component parts for the latest Cash Redemption Terminals (CRTs).
Key responsibilities include:
• Perform diagnosis and efficient repair of service parts
• Maintenance of test and repair equipment
• Inspect and evaluate all parts / equipment returned from the field - scrap, repair or refurbish materials accordingly
• Load hardware for spare parts and products
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment
About You
• A proven knowledge in repair and maintenance of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical component parts (at least 3 - 5 years' experience)
• Have a good understanding of electro-mechanical systems and computing environment
• Demonstrated ability to deliver quality repairs within a timely manner
• Possess strong communication skills and a mature work ethic
• The ability to follow procedures and work instructions
• Competency using hand and power tools
• Experience using soldering equipment.
• Ability to follow Work Health and Safety standards, protocols and guidelines
