Role Overview
IGT PlayDigital is looking for a Senior Illustrator with proven experience in the iGaming industry, specifically in realistic slot game Illustrations.
This role is intended for industry experts who understand how casino art functions in real production environments - from symbol readability and RTP-driven layouts to market-tested visual styles. You will be a key contributor within the PlayDigital Art team, responsible for shaping high-impact, production-ready casino Illustrations that perform in real-money gaming environments. From day one, your work will directly influence live products.
What You'll Do
• Lead visual development for slot games, from moodboards and style exploration to final symbol sets, logos, UI, and key art.
• Create casino-grade, production-ready illustrations optimized for mobile and web platforms.
• Develop high-readability symbols with strong shape language, contrast, and clarity, suitable for real-money gameplay.
• Collaborate closely with Game Design, Math, and Audio teams to ensure visuals support gameplay mechanics, features, and player engagement.
• Iterate efficiently based on feedback, performance insights, and market trends within the iGaming space.
• Maintain strict production standards, including file structure, layer organization, and naming conventions.
About You
• You are a iGaming expert, not a general illustrator.
• You have hands-on experience working on slot games that have been released to the market.
• You bring a strong portfolio of casino illustrations, demonstrating mastery of casino realism (metals, gems, gold, glass, light effects)
• Expert knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Ability to work within established casino styles while elevating quality and visual impact.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced production pipelines with clear feedback loops.
What We'd Prefer
• Experience using AI tools for concept exploration (not final art replacement).
• Familiarity with Spine, After Effects, or Unity for animation-ready assets.
• Experience using 3D software for blocking, lighting, and render references.
