Overview

🌍 Hiring location: Belgrade, Serbia
📋 Employment type: Full-time position through employment contract.
✅ Requirement: Candidates must be fully eligible to work full-time under a local employment contract in Belgrade, Serbia

💻 Work setup: Hybrid, connected to the local office in Belgrade, Serbia

Essential Functions:

  • Perform project assignments and work tasks with oversight by supervisor or mentor.
  • Test gaming software and review product documentation and packages to ensure conformance with required customer, jurisdictional, regulatory, and functional specifications.
  • Execute test plans and scripts for game software.
  • Perform scripted, exploratory, regression, load, and performance testing.
  • Ensure quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.
  • Detect, report, and track software defects and inconsistencies to communicate to game team.
  • Consult with the game development team to identify when and where the defect may have occurred and formulate recommended corrective actions to remediate.
  • Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
  • Assist with definition and analysis of test standards and procedures.
  • Provide project status reports verbally and electronically.
  • Develop rapport with other team members, departments, and game development stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

  • Technical background in a STEM discipline with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in software quality assurance including test plan development, software/firmware testing, experience with test tools, or knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
  • Moderate electronics and computer hardware knowledge with troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-motivated and passion for developing high quality games.
  • Strong orientation for collaborative teamwork to work side-by-side with cross-functional team members involved in the game development process.
  • Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience in a technical field/capacity.
  • Previous experience in game development or testing.
  • Familiarity with gaming regulations and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Knowledge of casino game rules and core demographic requirements.
  • Programming language competency or coding background/working experience.
