At IGT, we design and build casino games played by millions of players worldwide. We’re searching for talented Game Developer based in Serbia who are passionate about writing efficient code and ensuring seamless player experiences

What You Will Do
• Design, code, unit test, and debug software that meets product and customer requirements
• Develop and contribute to a Software Development Kit (common libraries and base layers for game studios)
• Collaborate with game studios and engineering teams to implement software features and improvements
• Participate in software engineering solutions with guidance from senior staff
• Contribute to process improvements and escalate complex technical issues when needed
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Strong C++/C# programming skills and familiarity with version control and build tools
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong mathematical foundation including statistics and discrete math
First Year Goals
By the end of year one, individuals who excel as a Software Developer will be equipped to independently implementation software features and possibly lead their next project from the engineering perspective through the following first-year goals:
• Start contributing to production libraries within 8 weeks of arrival
• Build professional relationships with peers through immersion in the engineering team and game studios
• Familiarize the entire Software Development Lifecycle by close of the year
• Understand Agile principles and Scrum methodology
• Architect an application subsystem for long-term maintainability using SOLID principles
• Design and implement 3+ project features independently by close of the year
