Overview
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations, Policy & Compliance Specialist to support employee relations, policy governance, and compliance activities across the EMEA region during an exciting period of integration and transformation. This role partners closely with People & Culture, Legal, managers, and regional stakeholders to promote consistent, compliant, and employee-focused practices while adapting to country-specific requirements. Success will be measured through effective case management, policy governance, compliance adherence, and proactive identification of employee relations risks.
Work Location: This role is based onsite in Belgrade, Serbia.
What You'll Do
- Manage employee relations cases across the EMEA region, including supporting workplace investigations and case resolution activities.
- Partner with P&C Business Partners, managers, and Legal on employee relations matters, providing guidance and support on policy application and risk mitigation.
- Support consistent application of company policies while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and country-specific employment requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on Works Councils and employee representative body requirements where applicable.
- Support the development, review, implementation, and regional alignment of policies and procedures.
- Maintain policy, compliance, and knowledge base content within ServiceNow, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and version control.
- Monitor employee relations trends, compliance risks, and emerging issues; escalate systemic concerns as appropriate.
- Support communication, training, and rollout activities related to policy updates and compliance initiatives.
- Partner with regional stakeholders to drive awareness and understanding of employee relations and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance consistency, compliance, and employee experience.
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of experience in employee relations, HR compliance, HR operations, or a related field.
- Experience supporting HR operations across multiple European countries.
- Knowledge of GDPR, regional labor laws, and employment practices across EMEA.
- Familiarity with Works Councils and employee representation structures.
- Experience conducting or supporting employee relations investigations and case management activities.
- Experience working in a shared services, HR operations, or matrixed environment.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar case management and knowledge management platforms preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment.
