Overview

IGT is seeking a qualified Sr. Technology Manager to lead a cross functional team responsible for IGT’s Retail Digital Media. This position will also provide tactical and strategic direction for supporting IGT’s POS Terminal Platform and Multimedia products supporting Lottery customers. 

Responsibilities
  • Lead the definition and implementation of the department’s product technology roadmap.  
  • Defining and improving the design and development processes.
  • Deliver storyboards, flowcharts, wireframes, and personas
  • Player facing digital signage development and screen content development
  • Build, release and support of baseline product and customer specific platforms
  • Support Product Management for trade shows and customer demos
  • Manage vendor service and license agreements. 
  • Offer leadership and coaching to a team of Software Engineers and Multimedia Designers
  • Demand forecasting and augmentation of full time and consulting resources. 
  • Responsible and accountable for department and project budgets
  • Resource management capability for both software engineers and content creative resources including scheduling, performance reviews, and corrective action.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years as a Technology Manager with a strong focus in product development, resource management, multi-media development, UI/UX design, and Front End development technologies. 
  • Proven track record of successfully leading the development and deployment of customer facing applications and content using web-based technologies including: the Adobe suite of design products, Java Script, HTML5, CSS, and Angular. 
  • Must be able to manage remote and co-located teams
  • Understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Familiar with standard development tools such as Confluence, Jira, Git, SVN, Perforce, Content Management Systems, Digital Asset Management. 
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Understanding of Monitor Game concept creation, implementation, and support.
  • Strong understand of Digital Signage technologies and solutions
  • Ability to support and manage multiple Digital Signage jurisdictions and interact with IGT customers on multimedia projects.
  • Ability to multi-task and actively participate in meetings and presentations with Customers and Senior Staff.
  • Oversee the design, development and implementation of client’s specific digital signage systems.
  • Thorough understanding of functional interfacing in large corporate structures between differing department types. This requires collaboration and a natural adeptness for intricate design; from Marketing, to Engineering, to Manufacturing.
  • A full understanding of integrating, testing, evaluating and modifying system requirements.
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Embedded Systems design experience is a plus
