Responsibilities

 

The Business Process Analyst III serves as the Operations expert within Global Lottery Field Services (GLFS), and liaison between the GLFS Business Intelligence team and other functions.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-  Responsible for crafting and maintaining reports and dashboards within Power BI and Tableau, providing key insights and business recommendations

-  Works with management at all organizational levels to develop data requirements for all active and proposed projects

-  Recommends appropriate solutions and coaches junior analysts on data best practices, developing effective processes and ensuring they are followed

-  Identify risk areas impacting GLFS and communicate with leadership, making recommendations on how to proceed with extant and proposed projects and processes

-  Analyzes data to deliver actionable insights and works with junior analysts mentoring them on how insights can be developed and actioned through data

-  Collaborates on Machine Learning development with engineers and data scientists to develop, test, and implement algorithms designed towards operational process improvement

-  Analyze data and identify differences in data distribution that could impact model performance in real-world use cases

-  Be responsible for logistics and accuracy of data across multiple environments, collected into the in-house Data Lake

-  Advocates and promotes adoption of data initiatives led by the Business Intelligence group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements

Qualifications

 

-  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field, or equivalent

-  5+ years relevant work experience (data analysis, business analysis, or related occupation)

-  2+ years experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools

-  2+ years experience with SQL databases

-  Proven analytic and problem-solving skills

-  Demonstrated ability to adjust to evolving priorities, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of outcomes


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


-  Demonstrated experience with Snowflake

-  Demonstrated experience with Power Query and Python

-  Prior project management and/or certification (PMP) a plus

-  Prior experience in Salesforce, SAP, and/or Oracle a plus

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59.795 - $122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
