Role overview:

Position: Software Apps Engineer
Location: Warsaw
Smartworking: possible

IGT is currently looking for a Software Apps Engineer.
Offered position is for central system engineer.
Candidate will be working primarily on lottery on-line transaction processing system based on Linux/Unix system and written in C.

Tasks:

Maintenance of existing installations of systems for our customers
Development of changes/new functionality for existing systems on customer request, full range of tasks from requirements specification to QA tests support
Development of new system deployments - adapting baseline system based on customer requirements
Development & maintenance of automatic test system written in Python
Development and maintenance of a lottery on-line transaction processing system
Participation in future system deployments for world-wide customers

Candidate Profile:

University or Technical College graduate preferable followed by at least 2 years of programming experience
Very good knowledge of/working experience with C/C++, Unix/Linux and software development
Very good command of English is essential
Communication skills
Flexibility, motivation, initiative
Ability to learn fast and transfer knowledge
Open to traveling
