We are seeking a Junior/Trainee Service Technician to provide service and technical support to our clients in the Tweed Heads/Northern Rivers region. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the gaming industry from the ground up and become competent in all aspects of installing, testing, servicing, repairing, and performing retrofits on IGT’s and competitor’s products.

Responsibilities

Service and maintenance of gaming equipment located within the club
Provision of audio-visual services for the club
Preventative maintenance and installation of gaming machines and other related equipment
Assist in inventory parts control within assigned work area
Assisting sales force in product promotion and performance
Attendant training and customer liaison

Requirements

Education:

High School Certificate or relevant work experience. Electronics/Electrical trade certificate is highly regarded

Skills, Attributes, and Experience:

An interest in the electrical or electronics fields and/or some mechanical skills
Quick learner with a willingness to be trained in all aspects of machine service
Possess excellent customer service and relationship building skills
Strong English communication skills
Self-motivated with ability to work as part of a close-knit team
Capable to carry out physical demands required of the role
Ability to gain a technician’s licence for all jurisdictions covered in service region (NSW)
Available to undertake paid overtime where required
Comfortable working in a club environment
Exposure to the gaming/club industry preferred, but not essential
