Responsibilities
• Performs all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality and privacy of employee and company sensitive data. To ensure all legal requirements are in place.
• Assist GPS with the administration of pre-employment checks from law enforcement officials, reference checks, and any others that may be deemed necessary to determine an applicant’s edibility for employment
• Conducts New Hire Orientation for all employees below management level including interns, as well as the reporting and updating of new employees in Success Factors and People Centre
• Collaborate effectively with team members in order to execute tasks and fulfil key deliverables within COEs in order to develop credibility
• Assist with the development and administration of all relevant policies and procedures and their updates as well as administration of company benefits
• Coordinates site insurance activities; interacts with local insurance broker and agency for prompt processing of claims and payments.
• Process, maintain, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as headcount, training, grievances, and performance evaluations statistics for ease of reference.
• Interacts with all employees at all levels to create and maintain good working relations among and between staff and departments.
• Provide support with the monitoring and generating reports from the company’s time and attendance (COSEC) to ensure employees are awarded leave according to the established policy
• Prepares and ensures Job Descriptions for all categories are updated to reflect the original status of the positions so described upon the request of the P&T.
• Familiar with Corporate Social Responsibility Programs and ways to brand initiatives using company tools and guidelines, lead the programs and work closely with PR Agencies.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Relations or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and TEAMs
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy. This includes the ability to speak and write clearly to deliver customer service excellence – over the phone, through e-mail, or in all other interactions
• Expertise in local labor law where required
• Ability to hold self and others accountable to meet commitments, consistently delivering results within required timelines and expectations
• Build strong customer focus, delivering solutions with our employees in mind
• Ability to work independently and function well in a team and matrix structure
• Work collaboratively with others, creating partnerships with management, colleagues, and the rest of the People & Transformation function
