Provides support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access. Provides timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel.  Imaging, installation and support of the hardware and software infrastructure, systems security and peripherals. Provides case status updates to management and end-users. Supports and maintains effective relationships with users. Develops, documents, and implements standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to IT support. May involve company-hosted, Web-enabled solutions or may include project-based jobs in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions.


  • Provides accurate, timely and creative solutions to end-user computer and networking problems of moderate to complex nature to ensure client productivity. Provide end-user support to include but not limited to: Creating, changing and deleting user accounts per request; Unlocking user accounts; Desktop, laptop support; Remote Access; Network connection issues; User privileges and security.
  • Issue, maintain and upgrade new end-user equipment including desktops, laptops, iPhones and iPads.
  • Responds to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing problem equipment or software installations, moves and configuration changes.
  • Maintain relationship with 3rd party network providers such as Comcast and Verizon, report on network issues and coordinate resolutions.
  • Consults with client area management and staff regarding PC / server and LAN systems and equipment problems or malfunctions, and recommends solutions.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware and server resources, systems and key processes.
  • Review logs to verify successful completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Monitor servers for intrusion and virus alerts and apply appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure all required file systems and system data are backed up to the appropriate recovery media.
  • Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary.
  • Maintain office printers and interface with suppliers such as Ricoh.



  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting MSOffice products, recent Windows versions, installing and/or repairing computer hardware and a variety of software applications
  • Ability to pass the Dell “Tech Direct” certification to operate on Dell Hardware (laptops/desktops)
  • Experience imaging computers via MDT and SCCM. Knowledge of Deployment bench application and ability to modify task sequences as directed.
  • Basic understanding of web technology, understanding of http/https protocol.
  • Previous experience in internet service deployment roles is preferred
  • Knowledge of WIFI technology
  • Basic understanding of networking
  • Experience with Apple iPhone & iPad a plus
  • Microsoft certification and/or A+ certification is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to remote offices as needed
