Responsibilities

  • Plans and executes promotions and events throughout the state as approved by the annual promotional plan
  • Supports all aspects of scheduled events from registration to breakdown and post-event reporting.
  • Liaises with the sales teams to plan and coordinate individual promotions as approved by management.
  • Resources and reviews new event partnerships appropriate for the brand.
  • Accountable for the success of promotional execution in terms of delivery against performance metrics, ROI goals
  • Coordinates the day-to-day timeline for all aspects of planning and executing sponsorships, consumer, retailer, and other New Jersey Lottery events
  • Coordinates procurement of promotional merchandise for the organization
  • Works with the Retail team to design the layout for branded items.
  • Liaises with the Advertising team and sometimes local media to leverage and execute value-added opportunities
  • Interacts with the public at events to promote NJL’s mission and business objectives, as well as educate players on new lottery products.
     

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Work, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Good driving record and valid drivers' license
  • High energy, outgoing, friendly personality who enjoys meeting new people of all backgrounds and engaging them in our brand
  • Previous customer service and/or promotion experience preferred
  • Physical requirements –
    • Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
    • Ability to stand for long periods
    • Travel within the state 80% of the time
    • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors at festivals, concerts and sporting events
