Role Overview

 

IGT PlayDigital RGS (Remote Game Server) Service Operations team is looking to recruit a Software Configuration Specialist. The successful candidate will join IGT’s Service Operations team and have responsibility for providing configuration to the North American RGS customer base. Coordination of operator needs, troubleshooting post-delivery of game and platform software releases, upgrades and fixes. Supporting our North American operator base and technology, you will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams and operators to ensure the on-time delivery of planned product and game launches and to support new jurisdictional and operator launches. 

What You’ll Do


•    Ensuring timely deployment of new game releases to relevant environments or escalation where deadlines are at risk
•    Accurate and timely configuration of new Games releases or changes to configuration
•    Accurate and timely configuration of new product features 
•    Accurate and timely configuration of new operator set ups or change management 
•    Accurate record keeping of all processed changes, including necessary peer reviews and management approvals for sensitive changes.
•    Makes recommendations for configuration related system changes and improvements
•    Assists with post release testing and escalation of where issues identified 
•    Communicates impacts to customer configuration as required
•    Documents and communicates RGS changes to Operators, Customer Services and the RGS Support Operations team where relevant
•    Assists in documentation of configuration procedures for new product deliveries. 
•    Creates and updates the knowledge base as required

First Year Goals


•    Demonstrate knowledge of the RGS back office and adherence to quality standards.
•    Be able to follow defined process and policies for configuration
•    Understand the RGS business model, release process and the importance of software configuration to the success of the business.
•    Understand casino game liability and how it is calculated
•    Demonstrate knowledge in operator configuration set up
•    Demonstrate knowledge of IGT’s promotional tools and how configuration effect the product

About You


•    Knowledge of digital casino game industry/terminology a distinct advantage.
•    Knowledge / experience operating in a highly regulated industry.
•    Technical University Degree.
•    Experience in technical support field, casino games and tools (JIRA, Confluence, ServiceDesk) and basic MS Excel skills.
•    Experience and understanding of customer care approach and technical support is recommended. 
•    Highly attention to detail focused
•    Good spoken and written English 
•    Analytical approach to problem solving and ability to work as a reliable team member, self-driven.
