Responsibilities

CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN OR NEAR AUSTIN, TX.

 

•    Lead in Mobile QA track, help deliver QA projects successfully, and also lead automation initiatives in Appium 
•    Mobile UI/UX testing with reference to standards of iOS/Android guidelines, WCAG 2.0 AA and Section 508 compliance. 
•    Develop and execute automation test scripts using Appium and Java, Python.
•    Ability to debug and trace logs for API calling and HTTP and SSL/HTTPS traffic
•    Work closely with various internal teams to propose solutions and improvements to the Product quality.
•    Implement Mobile automation on cloud based mobile service provider.
•    Work with cross functional teams internally and externally with the client
•    Work on QA strategies, Resource Planning, QA estimates 
•    Integrate automation scripts in continuous integration tools for nightly batch run.
•    Provide internal training sessions to the QA team, also frequent feature demonstration with the client.
•    Ability to support team members to implement end-end automation scripts 
•    Conduct KT sessions for new members in the team on functional, automation and business overview.
•    Enthusiasm and ability to work collaboratively within and across teams.
•    Proactive and self-motivated approach to work tasks

Qualifications

 

•    QA Lead with 8-10 yrs experience in Mobile & Digital QA area.
•    Good understanding of, Appium and Mobile automation design & development. (3-4 yrs)
•    Experienced in both iOS and Android - native, hybrid apps and also experience in Web testing. 
•     Candidate should have hands on experience in any automation framework, preferably Robot Automation
•    Should be able to create/design test cases from requirements, estimate effort and test execution.
•    Expertise in querying DB tables, writing DB queries.
•    Should be experienced in end-to-end testing activities, e.g. effort estimation, requirement gathering, test case design, defect logging/tracking.
•    Should be well versed with STLC / SDLC, testing methodologies / process.
•    Work with the development, architecture and operation teams when electing technological and paradigm solutions.
•    Very good communication
•    Lead Automation team at Onshore+ Offshore 
•    Should be open to drive and take calls with offshore at onshore teams
•    Good experience in preparing presentations and articulation.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $38,200 - $133,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
