Responsibilities

  • Manage the day to day running of the Art team in Australia (including Audio Design).
  • Be willing to be on the tools.
  • Working with Producers to help craft the vision of the games.
  • Translate creative vision to the creative team to ensure the art team can deliver the vision
  • Ensure appropriate tools and approaches are used with in the art team.
  • Work with Studio Leadership and Project Managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on quality.
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Inspire and drive engagement within the team.
  • Explore new tools and processes to accelerate the team’s output.
  • Establish and grow standards and ensure that the creative teams adhere to them.
  • Work with external art teams when needed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is preferred.


Experience:

  • 12 years of work experience; 8 years of related experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with the usual array of 2d/3d art tools and pipelines.
  • 3+ years' experience or exposure to Unity as a runtime engine.
  • 3+ years' experience with SCM ie (P4v).
  • 3+ years' experience with dealing with external art teams.
  • 3+ years' experience with AGILE development.
  • 5+ years’ experience with dealing with Software teams as a downstream consumer.
  • Jira / Confluence experience is preferred.
  • Casino gaming experience is preferred.
