Responsibilities

As a Material Handler III at IGT, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing operations in Santa Fe, NM. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to work in a world-class environment, focusing on the flawless execution of material-handling tasks.   •   Complete the handling, sorting, and distribution of materials within the manufacturing facility, ensuring flawless accuracy and efficiency.
  •   Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  •   Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to transport materials to designated locations.
  •   Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring materials are available for production needs.
  •   Collaborate with team members to determine and successfully implement standard methodologies for material handling.
  •   Perform routine inspections and maintenance on material handling equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  •   Assist in the loading and unloading of materials from delivery trucks, ensuring accurate and timely distribution.
  •   Prepare and document material movement records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  •   Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve material handling processes and compete at a world-class level.

Qualifications

Education:

  •   High School diploma or equivalent


YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  •   Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, with a proven track record of material handling excellence.


SKILLS:

  •   Proven ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
  •   Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure flawless material handling operations.
  •   Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
  •   Proficiency with material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  •   Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  •   Valid and clean driver’s license, with experience driving box trucks or trucks with trailers, and the capability to pass a medical examination for driving purposes.
  •   Competence in using computer systems for inventory tracking and material movement documentation.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $43,992 - $85,134. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
