This position is responsible for an analytics function which supports sales, strategic and marketing planning, and IGT customer needs. This position will be primarily focused on retailer and equipment-related analytics, including database mining, reporting, and project support for equipment deployment, equipment service, and asset tracking. Additional responsibilities could include historical market /game analyses and recommendations, retailer analyses, and sales forecasting and analyses.

  • Conducts data mining and produces custom reports using Business Objects
  • Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
  • Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide management with information for decision making and planning
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining daily, weekly and monthly reports to track sales performance, monitor alerts, report Out of Stocks on vending equipment, and provide on-going equipment asset management and tracking for audit reporting purposes
  • Assists with logistics and reporting to support equipment roll-outs, in addition to conducting analyses to identify opportunities for new equipment placement.
  • Provides key metrics and analytics for California Field Service, in order to manage penalties and to understand, in detail, what is driving service calls
  • Works with peers to collect additional detailed information to refine the data and present to management in order to develop strategies to proactively address issues before they become problems.
  • Assists with development of business reviews
  • Other marketing, sales, and analysis functions, as required


  • BA or BS or equivalent with a quantitative concentration such as Marketing, Finance or Accounting experience desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years corporate work experience
  • Strong abilities in statistical and data analysis and excellent presentation skills.
  • Must have strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience preferred with Business Objects database reporting / extraction, creating queries
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good writing, communications, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Technical proficiency and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality end product.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $67,000 - $114,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
