Overview

 

The role combines HR Generalist responsibility for Italy and HR administration for selected EMEA countries.
As HR generalist the role will be responsible for managing various HR processes, including recruitment, trade union relations, performance management, compensation and compliance with labor laws for Italian employees. As HR Administration part of the role you will be the primary point of contact for employees and managers to answer general HR questions and will be responsible to keep HR database updated.

Key Responsibilities

 

Recruitment & Onboarding for Italy

 

  • Assist in the hiring process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating offers.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and orientation process for new hires.

 

Employee Relations & Engagement for Italy

 

  • Address employee concerns and disciplinary actions in compliance with the Italian company policies and Italian Labor law.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement initiatives.

 

Compensation & Benefits for Italy

 

  • Administer benefits enrolment and leave management.
  • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.

 

Compliance & Policy Implementation for Italy

 

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures align with labor laws and company regulations and manage trade union relations.
  • Maintain employee records and manage HR documentation.

 

Performance Management & Training for Italy

 

  • Support Italy performance evaluation processes and provide guidance on Italian employee development plans.
  • Organize training programs and career development initiatives for Italian employees.

 

HR Administration & Reporting for EMEA Countries

 

  • Maintain HR databases, employee files, and HR systems for All employees belonging to the Countries mentioned above.
  • Handling and coordination of all aspects of the employee life-cycle such as hiring, terminations, market adjustments, promotions, country transfers, contract updates, changes to terms and conditions for All employees belonging to the Countries mentioned above
  • Performing HR transactions in HRIS systems, SuccessFactors, for employees in the Countries assigned to
  • Maintaining global employee documentation as required, such as personnel files, social security files, state reports, confirmation of employment eligibility, medical files, etc for employees in the Countries assigned to
  • Administer the benefit programs and/or retirement plans for assigned geography as appropriate (benefit analytics, benefit provider selection process, benefit day-to-day administration, liaison with benefit vendors and consultant, recommending changes to programs, etc.)
  • Ensure local policy, benefits, and any HR related information is kept up to date on HR Web Site
  • Document and respond to incoming global HR queries within identified service level agreements via company tools, emails, walk-ins, etc
  • Escalate/triage issues or queries to Business Partners and/or COEs as needed


 

Key Skills & Competencies

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience as HR Generalist or on a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Italian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in Italian and English language and strong knowledge of Spanish language as preference
