IGT is seeking a dynamic Transportation Supervisor to take the lead in driving logistics and transportation operations within our Reno headquarters. In this key role, you will oversee all aspects of logistics, mentor a high-performing team, manage critical shipments, and drive innovative solutions to improve material movement. We’re looking for a collaborative leader with a passion for innovation and a commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction.   • Develop, coordinate, and maintain transportation department activities, ensuring all team members follow company policies and procedures.
  • Lead, mentor, and share industry knowledge with logistics team members and other departments within IGT.
  • Mentor and educate direct reports on International Import/Export Documentation and the U.S. & Foreign customs requirements for all countries globally.
  • Provide expertise on 2023 Incoterm standards, consulting and auditing any changes, and maintaining direct communication with U.S. and Foreign customs brokers.
  • Manage harmonized coding for all gaming products and ensure the proper application of codes and articles related to tariffs.
  • Foster relationships with carriers and freight forwarders, coordinating cost-saving initiatives to drive annual savings.
  • Track and manage high-value/revenue projects to ensure successful execution.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent 5 years’ experience in gaming or transportation-related industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct supervisory experience.
  • High-level knowledge of domestic and international shipping documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with transportation and logistics operations and systems.
  • Strong understanding of Truckload, Less-than-truckload, Air, and Ocean transportation modes.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive staff and the leadership team.
  • Ability to adapt to and manage change effectively.
  • Ability to pass a Background Security Investigation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous background in Manufacturing/Distribution.
  • Small parcel shipping experience.
  • SAP experience or knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • CSCMP Certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $50,482/yr - $115,000/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
