Do you enjoy managing a variety of projects, and working as part of a collaborative team? If so, this is the opportunity for you!


Join IGT’s technology training and support’s team of technical writers and develop user guides and training guides for IGT gaming systems. In this unique position, you will collaborate with technical and design professionals, and be responsible for researching and analyzing information to write clear, concise documentation for systems end users.

Work Location
This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule at our Reno, Nevada location (approximately 50% in-office but could be less due to the needs of the business).

Requirements


Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
•    At least 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, or similar field
•    Able to effectively prioritize and execute multiple concurrent tasks of various size, complexity, and topics in a fast-paced environment
•    Must embrace working collaboratively and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to follow structured processes
•    Capable of quickly absorbing, retaining, and logically applying complex technical information
•    Self-motivated, highly organized individual with strong attention to detail
•    Aptitude for building strong relationships with internal and external customers while delivering the highest possible level of customer service
•    Capable of succeeding in a dynamic work environment where project scopes and standards may often change
•    Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), MadCap Flare, basic graphics programs such as Snag It!, and internet savvy 


Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience with heavily researched, process driven writing projects
•    Receptive of constructive criticism by peers and internal customers with the intent of producing high quality products
•    Aptitude for making decisions quickly while applying critical thinking skills

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $50,000 - $101,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
