Overview

We are seeking an experienced, technically oriented producer to join us in delivering the next generation of digital casino and lottery products for a worldwide audience. We are a passionate team, in the process of undergoing a technology shift and expanding our reach into the realm of third-party development. We are responsible for both internal and external initiatives involving central technology, advancement of tools used across multiple studios around the globe and increasing our overall game output via third party game development.
As a remote member of a distributed team, you will be tasked with driving the execution of projects that further our mission to deliver industry-leading games with ever improving efficiency. This role involves driving external development of casino products, as well as managing tools- and technology-related projects needed to improve our overall development ecosystem. While the core of our team operates on Pacific time, we are not all co-located, and our footprint extends across multiple locations in the US, UK, Serbia, and China.

Responsibilities

* Represent IGT as a primary point of contact and project driver for external game development projects.
* Work with game teams to develop and document the overall vision and scope of assigned projects, and regularly provide checkpoints for feedback.
* Work with engineers, project managers, studio content creators, QA, and assorted end users as the primary driver for on-time delivery of high-quality technical projects.
* Work with stakeholders to clarify and/or solidify requirements where not yet known.
* Craft and deliver compelling and comprehensive project pitches, in collaboration with game teams.
* Track and report on project progress and metrics.
* Facilitate the flow of information among team members on assigned projects.
* Participate in removing project barriers and roadblocks.
* Identify and communicate project risks and instigate contingency plans.
* Create and maintain high-quality documentation where needed to support development efforts.
* Work on multiple projects in tandem.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
* 5+ Years of experience in managing the production of online and mobile games and/or technical projects from inception to completion
* 3+ years of experience managing (directly or indirectly) small cross-functional teams of 3-12 people
* Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
* Must be able to demonstrate diplomacy skills when working with external teams, both within and outside of the company
* Must be familiar with Agile methodology, as well as project management techniques and methods
* Track record of successful delivery of quality product through consistent milestones
* Familiarity with issues around localization and internationalization best practices
* Strong Excel, JIRA, and PowerPoint skills

 

Additional advantageous skills:
* Knowledge of HTML5 technologies
* Experience with real money wagering games (casino, table games, lottery style games) a big plus
* Interest in working with distributed teams across multiple cultures, time zones, and communication styles
