Responsibilities

Performs functional tests on electronic components and works with IGT Test Engineering to improve functional testers.
Reviews and investigates nonconforming purchased material (parts and assemblies) related to the manufacturing of IGT products for root causes.
Assists with the resolution of nonconforming materials throughout IGT and our material suppliers.
Performs semi-routine inspections of components, piece parts and assemblies. Including the verification of bills of materials (BOMs) and product specifications on both electrical and mechanical parts.
Assist with continuous process improvement for IGT and Supplier feedback.
Communicates with both Internal and External contacts regarding any nonconforming materials.
Troubleshoots/Resolves 1-4 semi-routine technical issues in an assigned IGT manufacturing function.
Learns to identify areas where metrics/reports improvements can be utilized.

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Office including, but not limited to Excel, Teams and PowerPoint. SAP, MATRIX, SOLIDWORKS knowledge is a plus.
Well organized, good communication skills both written and verbal with a strong desire for continuous learning.
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large volumes of parts and data.
Knowledge of proper use of precision measurement tools (mechanical and electrical)
Ability to lift 30 lbs on a regular basis.
Must be able to work 37.5 hours/week during the summer with possibility of extension into the fall / spring semester at a minimum of 12 hours/week.
Currently enrolled in a Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree program.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation starts at $19.50/hour. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
