Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance

IGT is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Quality Assurance Senior Manager to lead the development of world-class quality assurance teams and processes. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvements across manufacturing operations by evaluating key quality indicators, ensuring adherence to stringent specifications, and championing high-performance standards. • Direct and oversee Operations QA processes, including final product quality assurance, shipping compliance, and inspections in vault and print shop operations, to ensure total customer satisfaction.
• Lead a team of 27 employees across two shifts, focusing on engagement, professional development, budget planning, expense management, and salary administration.
• Collaborate with management and senior staff across departments to establish and enhance quality standards.
• Analyze and enhance manufacturing processes to ensure products consistently meet quality, integrity, functionality, and performance standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for escalating and resolving manufacturing quality issues.
• Guide the Business Analyst and Database Administrator in developing and delivering KPI reports and identifying quality improvement opportunities.
• Report regularly to leadership on quality assurance and operations, providing updates to external auditors and regulatory agencies when required.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication regarding product quality across teams, including engineering, game development, systems, operations, logistics, and sales.
• Implement and standardize inspection methods while leveraging innovative technologies to improve inspection accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to uphold manufacturing quality, maintain high product standards, and optimize manufacturing yield.
• Manage and maintain JIRA projects, Tableau reporting systems, and custom automation applications to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on quality assurance and process improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quality-related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient in using SAP, JIRA, and Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Highly detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable and capable of reorganizing and rescheduling work on short notice to meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Thrives in a collaborative team environment, fostering effective communication and cooperation.
• Willing to travel to represent IGT in meetings with customers, Field Services, Sales, and Contract Manufacturers.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external manufacturing and supplier partners.
• Flexibility to work both day and swing shifts to learn workflows and build strong relationships with team members across shifts. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field such as industrial sciences, business, or a technical discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or quality assurance.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a senior quality supervisor, manager, or equivalent role.

Preferred Certifications

• LEAN Six Sigma certifications (Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt).
• Applicable quality certifications, such as Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
