IGT is seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to support the company's Reno manufacturing operations. This role is perfect for an emerging leader within manufacturing with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily operations, implement process improvements, and manage team performance while upholding safety and efficiency standards. Success in this role will require strong communication skills, the ability to motivate and develop team members, and a dedication to upholding IGT’s high operational standards and commitment to excellence.
 

  • Lead and supervise a team of 10-25 employees to maintain efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Implement daily processes and monitor team performance against established metrics.
  • Communicate job expectations clearly to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflow and enhance operational performance.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide regular feedback to team members.
  • Manage employee selection, training, scheduling, and coaching to support overall team development.
  • Incorporate new products, processes, and materials into a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments across different locations to support IGT’s global customer base.
  • Apply creative and analytical skills to make independent, effective business decisions that ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following and enforcing safety standards.

Qualifications

 

  • 0-2 years of leadership or team lead experience within a manufacturing environment. 
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams. 
  • Skilled in managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Able to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage change effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office. 
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar systems. 
  • Competent in analyzing data, assessing performance, and reporting findings clearly.
  • Capable of maintaining an active presence throughout entirety of shift, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. 
  • Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming Card. 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment, including daily operations oversight.
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, with an understanding of production line processes.
  • Experience in manufacturing distribution, including supply chain and inventory management. 
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and experience implementing safety protocols.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $50,482/yr - $115,000/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
