Production Coordinators within Global Manufacturing Operations are responsible for ensuring their compliance with the established work standards.  The Primary function of Coordinators within Reno Operations is to support the team in achieving expected daily outcomes by coordinating activities, resources and transactions while resolving any impediments

Responsibilities

Safety;  Promoting a safe working environment. Safety first.  Eliminate any potential hand, slip, trip, and fall hazards. Report any equipment failures to area Supervisor immediately. Report All Safety concerns and Injuries to Supervisors immediately

 

Leadership Promoting Line-level leadership through fair and consistent application of best practices, effective communications, employee engagement and problem solving skills. 

 

Technical functions:

Has understanding of SAP and MES  in relation to manufacturing production orders, inventory controls and logistics functions. 
Deep understanding of quality aspects of role and extending quality expectations to line personnel.  Focus on Successive Inspection (SI); First Pass Yield, and PZD metrics performance
Understanding and managing of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Interact with internal customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues holding up an order or process
Work closely with Supervisor and provide input for any process improvements and projects. Be an active participant in continuous improvement activities. 
Daily management of Line-level administrative activities, including expediting staged bins / RFC’s within the designated timeframe handling shortages, mixed  and missing items, pass down reporting and line transition activities between shifts where applicable.
Understanding and application of Lean concepts including 5S, COPQ, pull vs push, Line flow, and waste elimination
Works closely with internal  groups including Manufacturing Engineering, MRB, MES, Production Control, Logistics and Master scheduling.

 

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Business or relevant experience. 
  • Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience. 
  • SAP & MES functional experience. 
  • Microsoft Office skills including TEAMS; Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Control Board gaming card.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently in a group or presentation setting.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $17.98 - $46.63. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
