Responsibilities

Participate in the part and assembly design and drafting using 3D CAD tools
Support in the creation of bill of materials and engineering change orders
Participate in the testing and analyze test data to determine or ensure limits and specifications or products, processes and materials are met
Support the development of assigned aspects of new and modified product designs and routine fixes
Participate in prototype builds and assembly efforts for design projects
Support the preparation of the specifications for and participate in the review of electromechanical devices designed and produced by third parties
Interact with development group peers within Hardware Engineering on various project tasks and assignments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within IGT and external vendors

Qualifications

Must be a full-time student working towards BSME or equivalent degree
Must possess basic knowledge in the areas of electro-mechanical components, 3D CAD tools, CAD modeling, Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Word, Outlook and Excel
Comfortable operating pneumatic and manual hand tools
Proficiency in SolidWorks desired
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with close supervisory oversight by project leaders or senior members of the staff
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly
