Responsibilities

Responsible for managing key aspects of IGT’s product configuration, pricing, sales order, contract management, delivery, shipping and installation with specific impact on overall efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.  

  • Ensures quick response to sales order quoting requirements.  
  • Ensures all products are accurately configured according to customer profiles and product information sheets.  
  • Ensure all pricing and legal language is accurately reflected on all signature documents.  
  • Drives all orders to Customer Requested Delivery Dates
  • Drives all analysis on CRDD dates including corrective actions and process improvement solutions
  • Operates within the framework of the operating plans of the Order Administration department of which the entity managed is a part
  • Manages the execution of the operating plans of the entity managed
  • Supports or has shared accountability for achieving the financial and operational goals (e.g., order processing timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency) of the entity managed
  • Manages employees who perform similar or related tasks; has both direct reports and indirect reports
  • Activities of entity managed impact several short-term sales outcomes and production operations

 

Specific Accountabilities

Sets up, manages, and documents cross functional meetings for large and difficult customer orders or to improve order processing workflows and coordinates shipments
Participates, sets up and communicates special Sales programs, special pricing, and other non-standard Sales deals
Creates, manages, and reviews audit processes to ensure high accuracy rate on customer orders and configurations
Manages Order Administration processes to ensure that all Compliance regulations are followed
Manages Order Administration processes to ensure all correct legal verbiage and documents are included in the signature package and scanned for revenue recognition purposes.
Develops and seeks to improve performance metrics for area of responsibility 
Monitors status of quotes and orders from initiation through shipment
Solves problems related to pricing, special order configuration and/or new jurisdictional requirements
Ensures compliance with SOX regulations and ISO requirements for the area managed
Participates in cross functional projects to develop processes and procedures for new products, new systems, etc. impacting the Global Order Management department

Role in Strategy

Translates short-term operating goals into processes and assignments for the entity managed; ensures that these processes are fully coordinated with those of related departments
Continuously improves operating processes of entity managed
Summarizes escalated issues or recurring problems and participates in the development of improved multi-departmental processes and procedures to resolve those problems
Determines or recommends the determination of, monitors, and adjusts the priorities of the entity managed
Leads the resolution of escalated order administration issues from personnel managed; escalates highly complex operating issues or requests to gain cooperation of senior management of other related departments
Participates in resolving process and operational standards conflicts
Participates in the development, training and support of the staff of the entity managed
Conducts or reviews regular performance reviews, sets annual performance goals, recommends compensation adjustments, and awards and develops near-term career development plans for personnel managed
Participates in conducting personnel actions including employment, performance improvement plans and terminations
Work is reviewed from a near-term perspective and against the operating plans and performance metrics of the entity managed 

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in sales order management
  • 3 to 5 years supervisory or management experience
  • Recognized as an operating and procedural leader

 

Prefer advanced in-depth knowledge of / skills in the content areas of: 

  • Multiple IGT sales order / production operations organizations / workflows
  • Multiple relevant ERP tools
  • Gaming industry
  • Machine and/or system product configuration
  • SAP experience
  • Microsoft Office
  • Reading and interpreting regulatory and technical documentation
  • Cross-functional communication and consensus building
