Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating improvement initiatives across the organization including procurement, scheduling, production, inspection, shipping and receiving, and administrative processes such as Engineering change orders and sales order entry.
- Key areas of responsibility include: Receiving, Raw Material Warehouse and Picking, Line Side delivery, Extraction, Finished Goods Warehouse, Shipping, and Parts Distribution.
- Define and implement process improvements on key initiatives that result in significant improvements in service, delivery, and increasing organizational effectiveness. Focus on business performance that constantly strives to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and deliver business results (market share profitability) via the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Develop metrics to measure process improvements and ensure that these metrics are captured during process improvement activities.
- Communication and Reporting: develop impactful project communication plans.
- Participate in developing the capacity and capability in Logistics Operations to execute the strategic plan.
- Develop/maintain detailed process maps, metrics, and control plans for the key Logistic processes.
- Develop business cases, A3s, and DMAIC models for process improvement initiatives.
- Develop capital, expense, and operating estimates for process improvement initiatives.
- Build and drive detailed plans and timelines.
- Lead senior leadership and cross-functional project teams in the identification, assessment, development and validation of process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of processes and methodologies.
- Coach, mentor and develop associates to create a strong bench of future leaders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years experience improving business process performance Certified (Lean) Six Sigma Master Black Belt and PMP certification is preferred.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years professional experience in Logistics and Inventory Control, preferably in an assembly and/or test environment.
- Proven track record in Warehousing operations, ERP systems, managing teams, with a good safety management record.
- Continuous improvement experience across broad business areas and/or a shared service organization. Demonstrated experience in managing a range of project initiatives through the complete project life cycle and managing all project components including Plan, Financials, Scope, Issues, Risks, and Change Control.
- Formal Lean training and experience with Value Stream Management tools, A3 methodology, Kaizen methods and other key Lean tools and methodologies.
- Experience facilitating Lean training and Kaizen events at all levels, influencing and engaging senior leadership.
- Strong communication skills should be proficient in developing, organizing / arranging project information, and presenting to a range of audiences Must have experience presenting and making recommendations to Senior Management.
Preferred:
- Experience in high tech, electronics or consumer goods.
- Understanding of transportation, distribution, and warehousing concepts.
- Exposure to supply chain network modeling and strategy concepts.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $71,000 - $90,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
