IGT is seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering Technician III to join our team, playing a key role in supporting the development and enhancement of innovative gaming technologies. In this role, you will contribute to a wide range of engineering functions, including the design, testing, and modification of electro-mechanical systems and specialized test equipment. You’ll have the opportunity to work with advanced technologies across multiple applications, ensuring seamless functionality and performance. Your expertise in troubleshooting and system testing will be essential in supporting the continued success of IGT’s cutting-edge gaming solutions.
- Support the development and testing of systems involving electronic circuits, photonics, and logic components.
- Interpret schematics, diagrams, written instructions, verbal descriptions, and layout plans to perform testing, system checkouts, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Conduct operational tests and isolate faults within systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Assist in identifying solutions or methods to address system malfunctions and performance issues.
- Contribute to the design, construction, testing, and validation of new test equipment.
- Utilize various manufacturing, testing, development, and diagnostic tools, such as test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other specialized equipment.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
- 2-4 years of related experience required.
- Experience working in IGT Hardware Product Development, Manufacturing, Parts Procurement, and Product Shipping Systems (SAP, Matrix, Jira, Serena).
- Direct knowledge and understanding of IGT Engineering bill of material structures.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot IGT slot machine products from both a hardware and software/firmware standpoint.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $35,610/yr - $73,424/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
