Responsibilities

 

Engineering Technician responsible for various hardware engineering information services. Responsibilities include and are not limited to: create New Part, Part revision and review Part usage information; facilitation and troubleshooting of product lifecycle management workflow; review and analysis of hardware bills of material; review and analysis of firmware ties to hardware Parts; review and analysis of Operations Parts allocation issues, Production Order configuration issues and Customer Quality Concerns; development and maintenance of quality records; development and maintenance of process documentation.

Prevailing candidate must be organized. Attention to accuracy and detail is crucial. Familiarity with electronic modules and product configuration management is wanted. Experience with SAP is a plus. Expect immersion into IGT’s product development process.  Expect routine interaction with engineers throughout design and build process. 
 

First Year Goals:   

  • Demonstrate competency creating Parts, Part Revisions and doing Part usage analysis.
  • Demonstrate competency doing Bills of Material comparative analysis.
  • Demonstrate ownership of Product Lifecycle Management process documentation and quality records.
     

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:   

Experience using Product Lifecycle Management / Engineering Change Order tools and methods. 
Experience using MRP / shop floor / inventory tools and methods. 
Experience collecting and interpreting quality records.
Effective oral and written communication.


Preferred Qualifications:   

Experience in an electronics engineering work environment; 
Experience supporting hardware development and/or test; 
Competent using Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Teams. 
Competent saving / searching file stores plus driving browser-based apps and searches.


Special requirements:   

 Security Investigation; Able to stand an eight-hour shift; work overtime as needed; must be at least 21 years of age; able to obtain a Gaming License; able to lift 50 lbs. or more; pass a background check; available to work on weekends.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $37,400 - $97,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
