Summary

The Graphic Designer (Business Proposals) position is responsible for strategically collaborating with proposal managers, proposal specialists, Account Development Managers and other team members to develop, design,
and produce various proposal-related communication materials for diverse proposal opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic design and production of proposal materials; informational graphics/diagrams, covers, custom packaging, designed templates, content layout, marketing material, etc.
  • Lead with team members to project manage design initiatives throughout proposal development; including proposal design conception, design content and strategy planning, integration of stakeholder and team feedback, and format/design of final proposal material
  • Actively engage in concept development of bid design strategy, and convey comprehensive strategic messaging to targeted audience
  • Read and analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) provide design inputs to schedule, assignment plans, and content development
  • Layout and design of proposal material in MS Word, InDesign, or other programs such as PowerPoint and Excel; using various templates that incorporate RFP requirements
  • Contribute creative ideas and solutions for design team processes and improvements (innovations/design trends), department initiatives, and individual project success and completion
  • Execute final production tasks such as combining PDF files, redacting confidential material, and preparing files and/or documents for submission to the customer
  • Ensures that all work adheres to department standards and maintains brand continuity

Education

  • Minimum education: BA/BFA or the equivalent

Experience

  • Minimum of seven years design experience
  • Professional customer service manner and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and external resources
  • Expert level design skills in Adobe Creative Suite (CS6 Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.)
  • Skilled in Microsoft Suite (MS 365 Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook/Teams, etc.)
  • Excellent visualization and design skills; including color, typography, and photography
  • Desktop publishing experience including page layout, use/creation of templates, layout of design elements, and formatting
  • Knowledge and experience working with final production and printing, able to prepare files for print
  • Able to take direction from numerous resources and to receive and incorporate practical feedback
  • Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail on multiple projects simultaneously

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $58,100 - $113,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
