Role Overview:

 

The IT SYSTEM ANALYST provides support for ongoing IT systems operations and projects, both to internal and external customers, supporting Quality Assurance as well as Customer Acceptance Testing and providing documentation.

The IT SYSTEM ANALSYT works within the business organization of IGT and has contacts with the delivery, project and IT operational teams.

He/she reports to the Account Delivery Manager who heads the business activities for LoRo.

Main activities:

 

He/she is responsible for:

  • Acting as key technical contact for our customer
  • Providing operations mentoring and support to customer's IT systems operations staff where required
  • Responding accordingly during system incidents and emergencies to minimize financial penalties
  • Incident management: investigate incidents in the production/test environments, write incident reports, work with remote support engineers
  • Making recommendations regarding improvements for existing IT systems, software, infrastructure, and procedures
  • Interface with the Services Project Managers and customer staff as appropriate during projects
  • Supporting QA and CAT phases of projects
  • Ensuring the SLA objectives for the services are attained month after month
  • Consulting with other team members (project management/services/support/customer care) to be sure mutual objectives are met

Experience:

 

  • Minimum 4-5 years experiences
  • Hands-on experience with servers and tools, including:
  • Python, Bash, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Linux & Windows servers including simple administration
  • VMware ESXi
  • Cloud services such as Azure and AWS
  • Databases, Network
  • Proven record of accomplishment of successfully working in cross-functional teams and project delivery excellence
  • Experience in an agile environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, especially with clients
  • Good knowledge of IT delivery processes and IT service management (ITIL)
  • Ability to priorities multiple different tasks and execute to a high standard in a changing work environment
  • Works well and remains calm under pressure
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Collaborative team spirit
  • Fluent in English, French desirable

Qualification:

 

  • BS degree required in Information Technology or related field
