Overall Objective and Purpose
The Technical Concierge provides IT and Teleconferencing support for Senior Staff. Success will depend on the ability to provide expert level support, develop successful relationships, and deliver on promises. The person selected for this role will be the contact for any technical issues for Senior Executives and their Assistants. The position is full time and is located at the corporate building 10 Memorial Blvd, Providence, RI.
The Technical Concierge position is the Executive’s perspective into the IT organization making it paramount that they always demonstrate professionalism and excellent interpersonal communication skills, as their actions directly influence the perspective of IT from the Executive level.
Responsibilities
- Ability to handle high stress situations involving problem diagnosis, business communication and issue resolution must be handled with determination, effectiveness, and grace.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement with process/support issues.
- Board room and meeting support onsite and offsite.
- Must have a high sense of urgency and the ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively.
- Attention to detail, strong written and oral communication skills.
- Coordinates the installation, repair, and maintenance to building systems that AV systems depend upon, e.g. electrical, mechanical, IT and telephone networks.
- Monitors and tracks ticketing system queue, closes-out assigned work requests promptly upon completion, including relevant information pertaining to work performed. Information includes but is not limited to: problems encountered, diagnosis, resolution, and additional work needed to complete task.
Qualifications
- 2 years' minimum experience in a corporate IT, with experience in audio-visual technologies including sound systems, tele and video conferencing.
- Demonstrated experience in configuring and troubleshooting remote connectivity (VPN).
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft operating system, Microsoft Office applications. Advanced knowledge of Apple operation systems and mobile devices iOS.
- Advanced knowledge on hardware issues as related to laptops/desktops, tablets and other mobile devices.
- Strong knowledge of AV meeting and collaboration support, to include, Microsoft Teams & Microsoft Hubs, Logitech Tap devices.
- Advance knowledge of configuring and resolving print issues and teleconferencing equipment.
- Punctual, strong work ethic, positive attitude, organized, & has an intense desire to learn.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $$59,795 - $122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
