The Global Talent Acquisition team at IGT is looking for an intern to join its team! This position is based at our downtown Providence office, with availability for full-time hours for the summer (Monday-Friday, 9:00 - 5:00). This is a great opportunity for a student interested in Human Resources to gain professional experience at a large, international company.

The Talent Acquisition Intern will:

  • Support the Talent Acquisition Team by coordinating and scheduling interviews and assisting with the overall pre-employment and recruitment process.
  • Run reports from Applicant Tracking System.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations using analytics, graphs and charts for the department.
  • Maintain and update social media (LinkedIn) sites for recruiting.


  • Display outstanding customer service skills
  • Proficient in Outlook Scheduling
  • Must be proficient in social media skills and extremely outgoing for sourcing talent at IGT
  • Proficient in PP, Excel, and MS Office - creative in presenting information and data
  • Ideally has Human Resources, IT, Marketing, Business or Finance undergraduate courses and would like to pursue a career in Human Resources
  • Must be enrolled in a degree program prior to and during internship with minimum 3.0 GPA

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The compensation for this role is $19.50/hour. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.


Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
