The Strategic Sourcing Program Manager leads all aspects the sourcing strategy of contingent workers for our global organization and achieve efficient productivity, quality and cost efficiency to support overall business objectives by sourcing the highest-value services and talent on a global basis.
The position is based in Rhode Island and is expected to work 50% of their time in one of our offices (West Greenwich or Providence). Will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Global Talent Acquisition Operations & Corporate Recruitment.
About the Role:
- Act as IGT’s contractual point of contact with aligned suppliers, leading strategic sourcing engagement activities (RFPs, negotiations, contracting, governance etc.) and ongoing relationship.
- Runs the end-to-end lifecycle of contingent workers. This includes the initial rate card negotiation with the vendor, the onboarding of the contingent worker, and the renewal and termination of contracts.
- Negotiates rates on a global centralized capacity and defines Fixed Price engagements to ensure stability and consistency in all projects.
- Partner with Procurement, Business, and Finance teams to develop comprehensive strategies for contingent workforce utilization, ensuring alignment across business units
- Build and maintain dashboards to track contingent workforce costs, spend analysis, and Return on Investment, communicating findings and actionable insights to executive team members.
- Identifies strategic partners in key crucial geographies. Lead regional implementation.
- Conduct regular supplier reviews, including performance evaluations, contract negotiations, and quality assessments to ensure top-quality talent is being provided while increasing cost savings.
- Provides outstanding customer service by surpassing clients' expectations prioritizing their requirements, genuinely caring about their success, personalizing their experience, and proactively operate with a continuous improvement mentality.
- Reduce overall costs associated with high cost consulting (multi-vendor and global approach)
- Develops strong, positive relationships with key business partners while building and developing category strategy, driving alignment, and handling risk and issues
- Agree with partners to guarantee projects delivery, support required, agreement on terms and processes. Partner with vendors and suppliers to generate innovation and efficiency.
- Communicate, monitor, and enthusiastically run compliance with the sourcing strategy and/or business process
- Implement comprehensive auditing procedures to ensure supplier compliance with contractual agreements, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Proactively defines requirements to enable continuous improvement and works with internal partners to ensure the latest market research and analytics drive category strategy
- Partner with cross functional departments across the business to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Support payment process with Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure net payment terms are being satisfied
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
- 5+ years of experience in contingent workforce strategy development and implementation
- Experience leading third-party supplier contracts, with a detailed understanding of Terms and Conditions of the Master Service Agreement, Statements of Work and Fee Schedules.
- Strong experience in leading supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring supplier compliance highly motivated, self-starter, diligent, excellent prioritization, cross functional player
- Standout colleague with excellent interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, supply chain management or appliable field or equivalent experience.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $76,179 - $180,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
