Responsibilities

  • Create CloudOps team focused on digital operations of customer-centric products and services
  • The expected budget is 17M
  • Recommend best practices for IaaS & PaaS based on competitive insights and customer feedback
  • Build positive and productive working relationships – the core values at IGT – through close collaboration with external and internal stakeholders
  • Deliver quality, automated, reliable, and scalable solutions on time and within budget
  • Build cloud operations teams, across several countries & time zones Plan cloud priorities together in close collaboration with technology functions
  • Operate with Agile methodology
  • Create a cloud operations practice that includes state of art model for:
    • Visibility, organization of cloud deployments
    • Provisioning & orchestration
    • Cost management & resource optimization
    • Cloud migration, backup, disaster recovery
    • Identity, security, compliance, etc. policy automation
    • Monitoring & observability
    • Inventory & classification
    • Service enablement
  • Creator and owner of execution strategy for all cloud migrations. 
  • Full knowledge of the current digital tech stack of customers, future digital stack, latest state regulations impacting digital solutions, any upcoming RPFs for that site. 
  • Custodian of site-specific digital environment architecture and latest bill of materials.
  • Learn legal and regulatory constraints, and develop cloud roadmaps for various products & customers
  • Create (hire), train, manage a high-performance team 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree is required
  • 5+ years in cloud technologies
  • English language fluency
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated success with agile methodology
  • Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional, matrixed team environment on multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability to develop practical solutions to address complex organizational challenges
  • Strong project management skills, must have the ability to initiate project plans and balance multiple changing deadlines and priorities delivering on or ahead of budget and schedule
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and serve as the subject matter expert building credible relationships quickly
  • A strong sense of urgency, action orientation, drive for results, and pragmatism are a must
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to influence 
  • Excellent learning agility – ability to digest information quickly, apply existing knowledge in new makes, make connections across different areas and identify key questions/areas to explore
