Overview

The Product Manager of Mobile Prize Claims will establish, maintain, and implement the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Lottery mobile prize claims solution, with the goal of modernizing and making the current process more sustainable. This position will direct a team of Product Owners responsible for implementing the product roadmap and leading customer engagements during system implementation projects and services. The mission is to understand customers’ needs and translate them into product requirements. Working closely with Product Engineering, translate the vision to roadmap releases that contribute value for customers and improve product quality, usability, and insights.

 

Reports to the Head of Connected Play (retail digitization) Product Management.

This position is based in IGT’s offices in Rhode Island (West Greenwich or Providence).

Responsibilities

Product Focus

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Mobile Claims.
  • Accountable for the feature backlog and roadmap, working closely with Product Owners and Product Engineering on requirements and release plans.
  • Provide input and mentorship to Product Owners, Product Engineering, and UI/UX designers on mock-ups and wireframes of user interface designs.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering on the overall solution approach and ensure all software is built to the agreed-upon scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Sign-off the final user acceptance testing of new features and functions.
  • Handle communication of product releases to external and internal collaborators.
  • Establish goals for product performance, including critical metrics and results.
  • Be passionate about product and customer experience.

Market and trends analyses

  • Evaluate industry, retail market, technological trends, business opportunities, competitive intelligence, and financial factors to determine product strategy and roadmaps.
  • Stay current on all processes, techniques, tools, and industry-standard methodologies to ensure the solution is at the forefront of mobile solutions in the marketplace.

Customer engagement

  • Engage with customers at different levels to understand business needs, analyze, document, evaluate, and prioritize the requirements, and make solution recommendations. Immerse yourself in new business areas to gain domain expertise through proactive research and fast learning.
  • Evangelize the value of your solutions to customers to grow adoption and utilization.

Sales support

  • Participate in trade shows, demos, customer meetings, and conferences.
  • Take part in creating and evolving sales and marketing collateral and business proposals.
  • Support internal RFP responses as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • 6yr+ experience in business analysis or product management in an equivalent field
  • 4YR+ experience working with Banking/Payment Products
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in computer science or engineering
  • Experience with mobile apps and web-based products
  • A sound understanding of the technical aspects of a transaction processing product (such as a lottery transaction engine, a core banking system, or a FinTech) and its complexities is a strong plus
  • Ability to influence without authority, working with technical and cross-functional teams who do not report to this role to get things done.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to present insights and recommendations persuasively and the ability to have confidence when assisting people at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to learn new business areas, processes, tools, and technologies, as needed.
  • A solid understanding of product management practices and tools in modern product management and product design
  • The ability to take on sophisticated challenges and convert them into structured solutions that are actionable for both internal and external collaborators
  • Proven track record in prioritizing and running multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to travel (up to 20% of the time)
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones internationally if required

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $74,961- $164,800. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
