The Global Organizational Design Specialist is a key contributor in the development of methodologies and services provided by the global Organization Design center of excellence, which operates in the Organization, Transformation and Global Services structure, within the People & Transformation department. This role performs data-driven organizational design to ensure that appropriate scale and business impact are achieved for people strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to be an influential partner to senior people and business leaders as they evolve their organizational structure and design to achieve business goals .


The role operates broadly across the activities highlighted below

  • Supports the design and evolution of the operating models (OM) underlying IGT structures, (including key processes, job design, department structure, spans and layers, organization cost structure, other).
  • Seeks to understand and business leader’s organizational needs. 
  • Performs organizational analysis, defining alternative scenarios and proposing viable structure and operating model options; relating impacts of any proposed changes to the overall organizational health 
  • Models organizational scenarios using data visualization tools (i.e., OrgVue)
  • Conducts impact assessments of organizational announcements, including impacts to changes in departments, supervisors, locations, domino effect of people movements, and discussed findings with People Partners
  • Utilizes external benchmarking and research sources to gather and present relevant industry insights relating to organizational design, translating these into relevant divisional action plans
  • Leads organizational design consulting engagements, focusing on organizational models, organizational design & structure, governance, ways of working and roles
  • Works closely with our Data Management teams to contribute to reports, dashboards, models, and tools that enhance understanding of organizational indicators 
  • Updates organizational data in HR transactional system of record such as: Department name, and new departments. Understands the relationship between the many organizational hierarchies and contributes to maintaining them in sync.
  • Acts as an internal organizational design coach/advisor to senior leaders, collaborating with People Partners to translate organizational insights into actions
  • Supports global P&T data privacy obligations by updating operating procedures as a result of organizational changes in our global privacy system of records (One trust)
  • Participates in enterprise-wide projects such as HR systems upgrade, adoption of new technologies, innovation of methodologies and approaches


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 6+ years of related experience preferably in Human Resources or within a service delivery environment where organizational analysis, process improvement and regulatory compliance are performed.
  • Confidence in interacting with and advising clients at senior and executive levels on organizational design strategies, execution, and best practices to drive alignment and strategic change
  • Expertise in process reengineering.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and TEAMs.
  • Proficient in the English language (Oral, Written).
  • Ability to work independently and function well in a team and matrix structure.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously, while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in the treatment of highly confidential information.
  • Comfortable with organizational modeling tools (i.e., OrgVue), operating model frameworks (i.e., Business Model Canvas), and Organizational design methodologies (i.e.:Galbraith’s STAR model).
  • Ability to engage in system’s thinking by connecting the dots.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for the Organizational Design, Sr. Specialist role is $84,000​ - $200,000​. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
