Overview

 

We are currently seeking a student pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting to support our Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as a full-time intern from May to August 2022. Ability to extend internship into the following fall / spring semester as part-time.
This Global FP&A team supports three main functions: (1) internal management, majority shareholder, board/committee and external reporting/analysis, (2) corporate support/overhead costs and allocations and (3) data and cost management including transformation/cost savings programs, re-organization/restructuring planning/execution and financial systems coordination related to SAP Central Finance (CFIN)/Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Microsoft Power BI. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Global FP&A primarily supporting the reporting and analysis function but have exposure to all areas of the Global FP&A team.

Responsibilities

 

Principal Activities and Responsibilities:
•    Prepare and reconcile weekly and monthly financial reporting packages and presentations for senior and executive level business leaders
•    Participate in the monthly close, forecast, and annual budgeting process ensuring accurate financial results 
•    Learn to identify areas where metrics/reports improvements can be utilized
•    Learn to consolidate and analyze business segment financials including revenues, costs, and capital
•    Assist with continuous process improvement and complete other ad-hoc analysis, as needed

Qualifications

 

•    Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
•    Well organized, good communication skills and desire to learn
•    Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large volumes of data
•    Must be able to work 37.5 hours/week during the summer with possibility of extension into the fall / spring semester at a minimum of 12 hours/week
•    Currently enrolled in a Finance or Accounting degree program
